Med School: New Blood 011

Hospital Records' always so very nice sister label Med School Music are about to release a sequel to the New Blood 010 compilation album which they released approximately a year ago. That album introduced us guys like Enei, Stray and Joe Syntax, and also ended up getting good recognition outside the usual drum'n'bass listener base.

The limited advance vinyl copies of the new album, titled New Blood 011 are already in the Hospital Shop and features tracks from new and not-so-new producers like Anile, Eleven8, Flame, Furi Anga, and Nuage. Preview tracks are dropping on the Med School website every monday until the release date, which is march 28th.

It`s that time again :)

This tune to me represents the essence of what a great drum&bass track sounds like. Delicious breakbeat coupled with insanely groovy bassline... perfect.
Released by the classic Reinforced label in 1996 gets massive appreciation from me atleast... enjoy <3

More than ten years ago we remixed ‘You Got Me‘ by Erykah Badu & The Roots and 1000 one-sided 12″s of the track were released. They disappeared instantly and ever since then copies of it have changed hands for silly money.

Nice as that is for our egos we’ve been thinking about this a lot and decided to use the high demand for a good cause.

So what we’d like you to do is donate whatever you can to Cancer Research UK in exchange for a download of the track.
