Early bird

Great music for mornings when you're up early but you don't have any kind of rush anywhere and you more or less wait for the time to pass. So you just sit down, have some coffee and let the music fill the room and you wake up slowly.

Although this isn't exactly the album what I listened to this morning. I was listening to Electric Birds - Gradations album on Mille Plateaux, but I couldn't find anything off that from youtube. Then again is youtube the best platform for this kind of music anyway? Not too hi-fi I suppose.

Anyway, the album in question is more ambient and less techno than the piece I posted above. Pretty much in the same vibe, but less beats and more glitches and cuts. Originally from 2002, but I only discovered it last year and it's definitely been one of my favourites during the last 12 months. And well, a guy running a label that has released stuff from Matmos can't be bad. Too bad he seems to be inactive these days, as well as his label, since the latest releases have been 5-6 years ago.
